FIFTIETH REUNION

WHITE STATION HIGH SCHOOL

MEMORY IS THE TREASURY, THE GUARDIAN OF ALL THINGS.”

CICERO

HOLY GOD:

WE GATHER TO REMEMBER OUR TIMES.

CHERISHED EXPERIENCES SHARED AS A CLASS FRAMED OUR FUTURE.

FRIENDSHIP FORGED RELATIONSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIP.

GOALS GUIDED US TO COMMON GROUND.

TALENT TRANSFORMED DREAMS INTO REALITY.

FAITH POSITIONED OUR DESTINY.

TIME ENCAPSULATED IT.

WE GATHER TO REFLECT UPON OUR CLASSMATES WHO ARE NO LONGER WITH US.

HOW GREGARIOUS AND UNIQUE THEY WERE.

COLLECTIVELY THEY EMBODIED THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST OF OUR GENERATION.

THE KEEN INTELLECTUAL APPRECIATED TRUE ATHLETIC PROWESS.

THE QUIET THINKER AND VIVACIOUS EXTROVERT DREW JOY FROM ONE ANOTHER.

THE GIFTED ARTIST AND INTUITIVE ACADEMIC UNDERSTOOD THAT KNOWLEDGE AND DESIGN COEXIST.

THESE DILIGENT, CREATIVE, HARDWORKING MEN AND WOMEN LEFT BEHIND A LEGACY OF INTEGRITY WHICH WAS TRANSLATED INTO FAMILY, CAREER, AND FAITH.

THEY MIRRORED HUMILIITY AND LOYALTY IN ACHIEVEMENT.

INDEED, YOU BONDED US WITH EACH OTHER MORE THAN WE KNOW.

THESE CLASSMATES WILL LIVE ON IN OUR PERSONAL REVERIE FOREVER.

WE GATHER TO RENEW OUR LIVES BEFORE YOU.

IN THANKSGIVING WE LINGER TO REMINISCE.

THEIR LOSS IS OUR VOID.

THEIR LIVING ENRICHED US.

THEIR MEMORY IS A TREASURE.

ALL WERE KNOWN BY YOU.

CONTINUE TO GUIDE US WITH COURAGE AS WE EMBRACE THE YEARS AHEAD.

KEEP US CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER AND TO YOU.

OUR SEASONS REST IN YOUR HANDS.

FOR A THOUSAND YEARS ARE BUT AS YESTERDAY WHEN IT IS PAST, AS A WATCH IN THE NIGHT.

                                                                    PSALM 90:4

 KEEP WATCH OVER US.

WE ASSEMBLE AT THIS REUNION AND REJOICE IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN.

IN PRAYER WE HONOR THEM AND WITH FAITH WE HALLOW YOUR HOLY NAME.

AMEN.
